Congratulations to Year 12 student, Natalia Leigh (AL05), who won the title of Miss Coventry 2012 on 21 January 2012. Natalia is the youngest ever winner of the competition at 16.

In the run up to Miss Coventry 2012, Natalia won Miss Eco Designer 2012; designed an Olympic outfit, a dress made out of Aston Villa football shirts; won Miss Junior Charity Queen 2012; organised fundraising and raised £155 for 'Zoe's Place'.

Natalia had to learn a dance and perform it; talk about her charity work and be interviewed; learn about modelling and hair and make-up; she received a free dress and a modelling contract for promotional work.

What happens next for Natalia? Natalia is through to the semi-finals of Miss England in May and the final of Miss England takes place in June 2012.

Natalia will be taking part in an interview on Hills FM on Friday 27 January at 1.00pm. She will be also be doing interviews for local newspapers and more charity fundraising. Natalia also has to present the cheque for the money raised by all the contestants, to 'Zoe's Place' at their Head office.
