Which way next?

confusedThinking ahead to what will be your next step after GCSEs is exciting. All sorts of opportunities are available to you and you will be receiving advice and guidance to help you make your decisions about your future. You may feel swamped by all the marketing material being sent to you and overwhelmed by the different routes you could take.

Here at Cardinal Newman we will help you decide upon the best route for you. We have created a very extensive range of options from which to choose and will guide you through them carefully. There are one or two year vocational courses on offer and A levels in a huge number of subjects. Some of these courses are taught entirely here at school while for others teaching is provided by other schools, college and training providers.

In our Ofsted inspection in September 2008 our Sixth From was rated as "outstanding" so you can be assured that whatever your choice of pathway in the Sixth Form you will receive excellent teaching and the very best care, guidance and support.

Our Sixth Form also offers students the chance to make a difference and to contribute to the life of our community. There are plenty of activities to get involved in and ways you can make your voice heard. You will be part of a tutor group and offered opportunities for leadership of younger students. You will also be encouraged to develop your own spirituality and faith, in a caring Christian environment.

We believe we have an excellent range of opportunities for you within our Sixth Form. So why not see what Cardinal Newman Sixth Form has to offer? Check out our website; www.cardinalnewman.coventry.sch.uk; read our Ofsted report and come along to Open Evening.
