Welcome to Cardinal Newman Catholic School. We hope that you will soon settle in and feel part of our community. Over the next exciting six or seven years I am sure that you will want to make your own contribution to the school's fine reputation and that you will achieve great success. We hope that your time with us will be happy and memorable and that you will make many new friends.
It is important that you come to Cardinal Newman ready to learn and ready to work hard. All of your teachers will be eager to support you to do well. We all want you to achieve the very best that you are capable of so that you can be proud of yourself and your school.

Tutorial time
Tuesday, 11 January 2011 13:53
Your tutorial group will be made up of around 20 students from other schools and from different year groups. Spend some time getting to know these new people and make new friends.
You will see your tutor and your tutorial group for tutor time for 30mins on Monday to Thursday. Your tutor will be the main person to help you settle into your new school routine.
Your tutor is a very important person and is there to support you here at Cardinal Newman. They want to know all about you and should be the person to take your worries to and all the good news.
In tutorial time you will have the opportunity to develop new skills and work with students from other year groups.
